The duration of the doctors “On the Day” appointment is approximately 10 minutes, but a longer consultation can be requested.   The nurse clinic appointments vary.  You have the right to see the doctor of your choice and this can be done by asking for them by name, but they may not always be available due to work commitments, holidays or increased patient demand.

Between 08:30 and 17:30 there is always a doctor on call for emergencies. 

The on call doctor carries a mobile telephone so they can be immediately contacted. 

Extended Hour surgeries are available on Thursday Mornings between 08:15 and 08:45.

Appointments are available for patients who are unable to attend the surgery during normal working hours due to work commitments etc.

Home visits are arranged for patients to be seen at home who are too ill or infirm to be seen at the consulting room. 

Home visits can be requested by telephoning 01465 811224.  It is most helpful if our staff can be given some idea of your symptoms in order that the urgency of each call can be assessed by the doctor.  We do appreciate your help in this matter.               

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.

Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day-except in the event of an medical emergency that requires immediate attention.

If you require an interpreter to attend with you when you see your Doctor please notify the receptionist and she will arrange this for you.
