Our practice nursing and health visiting staff have undergone considerable training to equip them for the maintenance and promotion of good health.  For this purpose they take part with the doctors in a variety of clinics designed for that purpose.

• Diabetes Management
• Cardiovascular/Neurovascular Disease Management/Prevention
• Hypertensive Disease Management/Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Diet & Weight Management
• Well Woman including Contraceptive Services
• Epilepsy Monitoring
• Hypothyroid Disease Monitoring
• Vaccinations, i.e. Travel, Disease Prevention, Influenza, Pneumoccocal, etc.
• Anti-Coagulation/Disease Modifying Drug Monitoring
• Child Health Surveillance – Childhood Immunisation Programme
• Well Person Checks – The Practice would like to invite patients not being seen within a 3 year period to make an appointment for a general health check..

Child Health

Child Health is of course extremely important, and advice is always available.  The practice takes full part in Child Health Surveillance.  Appointments for this clinic are made by contacting the Practice Health Visitor.
